This global / Interglobal event, with main themes “International Human Moon Landings” and “Astronomy from the Moon“ is being organized by International Lunar Observatory Association (ILOA Hawai’i), Chinese Society of Astronautics (CSA) and National Astronomical Observatories of China (NAOC), with co-sponsors International Astronautical Federation (IAF), Hainan Association for Science and Technology (HAST) and Moon Village Association (MVA), with support from Deep Space Exploration Lab (DSEL).
CONFERENCE GOALS
This Galaxy Forum focuses on issues of astronautics and astronomy, conducts in-depth discussions on advanced developments for helping understand and realize human Moon landings in the coming decades by identifying and supporting vital missions, enterprises, individuals and resources. The Forum will also serve to further the new frontier of astronomy from the Moon and expand international cooperation in research, business and education through collaboration, data sharing and networking worldwide.
FORUM PARTICIPANTS
Experts from scientific research institutions, colleges, companies in the field of aerospace and astronomy, representatives from media and cultural education. Around 150 participants in total. At least 15 young professionals / post-doc researchers under 45.
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
We are accepting submitted talks for two categories:
– Astronomy from the Moon
– International Human Moon Landings / NewSpace Commercial Enterprise

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS / POST-DOC STUDENTS SPECIAL GRANT OPPORTUNITY
Chinese Society of Astronautics is offering special grant support for American young professionals / post-doc students (under 45) which will provide the conference registration fee, Hilton Wenchang hotel accommodation, meals and local transportation (including flights and ground transport within China) to be fully covered for at least 15 people.
